How to enable live monitoring in AWS?

Firstly, It is the process of continuously collecting, analyzing, and tracking the performance of an cloudshot. Cloudshot offers powerful live monitoring capabilities for both AWS and Azure environments, allowing users to keep a close eye on their cloud resources in real-time. This feature enables quick actions and informed decision-making based on up-to-the-minute data.
  • Watch step-by-step guide for setting up live monitoring in AWS:

Access:

  1. Select an EC2 instance in the Cloudshot interface
  2. Right-click and navigate to 'Cloudshot AWS' > Live Monitoring options.
  3. After clicking on it you will see a live monitoring option like Start, Stop, Restart, and Terminate.

  4. User can do EC2 to Start, Stop, Restart, and terminate from options of live monitoring
  5. As shown below.
Start EC2 Instance

Action: Power on a stopped EC2 instance

Process:

    • Select an EC2 instance in the Cloudshot interface
    • Right-click on a stopped EC2 instance in the CloudShot interface.
    • Navigate to 'Cloudshot AWS' > 'Start' in the context menu.
    • Confirm the action in the popup dialog.

    Visual Indicator:

    • Before: The EC2 instance icon appears grey, indicating it's stopped.
    • During: A loading spinner appears next to the instance, showing the startup process. During start icon turns yellow.
    • After: The EC2 instance icon turns green, indicating it's now running.
    Stop EC2 Instance

    Action: Shut down a running EC2 instance

    Process:

    • Select an EC2 instance in the Cloudshot interface
    • Right-click on a running EC2 instance in the CloudShot interface.
    • Select 'Cloudshot AWS' > 'Stop' from the context menu.
    • Confirm the action in the popup dialog.

    Visual Indicator:

    • Before: The EC2 instance icon is green, showing it's running.
    • During: A loading spinner appears, indicating the shutdown process.During stop  icon turns orange.
    • After: The EC2 instance icon turns grey, signifying it's stopped.
    Restart EC2 Instance

    Action: Reboot an EC2 instance

    Process:

    • Select an EC2 instance in the Cloudshot interface
    • Right-click on an EC2 instance in the CloudShot interface.
    • Choose 'Cloudshot AWS' > 'Restart' from the context menu.
    • Confirm the action in the popup dialog.

    Visual Indicator:

    • Before: The EC2 instance icon is green (running).
    • During: A loading spinner appears, indicating the reboot process.
    • After: The EC2 instance icon remains green, as it's still running after the reboot.
    Terminate EC2 Instance

    Action: Permanently delete an EC2 instance

    Process:

    • Select an EC2 instance in the Cloudshot interface
    • Right-click on an EC2 instance in the CloudShot interface.
    • Select 'Cloudshot AWS' > 'Terminate' from the context menu.
    • Carefully review and confirm the action in the warning dialog.

    Visual Indicator:

    • Before: The EC2 instance icon is either green (running) or grey (stopped).
    • During: A loading spinner appears, showing the termination process.During the termination icon turns orange.
    • After: Once terminate icon turns red and the EC2 instance icon disappears from the CloudShot interface.
