In GCP, attaching a disk involves connecting a Persistent Disk to a VM, making it available for storage or data processing. This can be done to both running or stopped VMs. Detaching a disk removes the connection between the disk and the VM, allowing the disk to be used elsewhere or kept for storage.

Steps:

1. Select an GCP instance in the Cloudshot interface.
2. Right-click on that instance.
3. Click on 'Cloudshot GCP'.
4. In that select 'Attach and Detach disk'.

Attaching a Disk:
5. Once the Attach Disk window appears, you'll see a dropdown menu displaying the available disks that can be attached to the selected instance.
6. Then, click on the 'Deploy to GCP' button.

7. In just a few seconds, you'll get this friendly little popup saying your disk is attached successfully and it asks if you want to update your diagram? 

8. Go ahead and click that 'Yes' button.

9. Here you can see your disk is attached to the instance successfully.

Detaching a Disk:

10. Follow the same process as you would for attaching a disk.
11. Select the disk you want to detach from the dropdown menu.
12. Click on the 'Deploy to GCP' button.

13. Then you'll get a popup letting you know your disk is detached successfully. It asks if you want to update your diagram.
14. Click 'Yes' to proceed.

15. Here you can see that your disk has been successfully detached from the instance.

And That's it.
