To change the VM size in this interface:

  1. Right-click on the VM icon in the diagram.
  2. In the context menu that appears, hover over 'Cloudshot Azure' to expand its submenu.
  3. Select 'Change VM Size' from the expanded submenu.
4. A pop-up screen will appear after clicking on ‘Change VM Size’ below.

   5. Select the size of the VM from the dropdown, you want & then click               ‘Deploy to Azure’.

   6. After clicking on ‘Deploy to Azure’, the VM size will be changed.

Reasons to change VM size:

  • Performance needs: If your application requires more processing power or memory, you might upgrade to a larger VM size with more vCPUs or RAM.
  • Cost optimization: If your current VM is underutilized, you could downgrade to a smaller, less expensive size to reduce costs.
  • Scalability: As your workload grows or shrinks, you can adjust the VM size to match your current needs.
  • Specific resource requirements: Some applications may need more of one resource (e.g., memory) but not others (e.g., CPU), so you can choose a VM size that best fits those specific needs.
