How to enable Live Monitoring in Azure VM?
Monitor Azure Resources in Real-Time with Cloudshot
Firstly, It is the process of continuously collecting, analyzing, and tracking the performance of an cloudshot. Cloudshot offers powerful live monitoring capabilities for both AWS and Azure environments, allowing users to keep a close eye on their cloud resources in real-time.This feature enables quick actions and informed decision-making based on up-to-the-minute data.
Access:
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Right-click and navigate to 'Cloudshot Azure' > Live Monitoring options.
After clicking on it you will see a live monitoring option like Start, Stop, Restart, and Terminate.
- User can do VM to Start, Stop, Restart, and terminate from options of live monitoring. As shown below.
The process for each action would be:
- Start:
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Right-click the VM icon
- Go to Cloudshot Azure > Start
This would power on the VM if it's currently stopped.
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Stop:
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Right-click the VM icon
- Go to Cloudshot Azure > Stop This would gracefully shut down the VM.
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Restart:
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Right-click the VM icon
- Go to Cloudshot Azure > Restart This would reboot the VM, which is equivalent to stopping and then starting it again.
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Delete:
- Select an VM instance in the Cloudshot interface
- Right-click the VM icon
- Go to Cloudshot Azure > Delete This would remove the VM entirely. Be cautious with this option as it's typically irreversible.
